The most comfortable weather conditions in Niagara generally occur from mid May until mid September. Our peak season (and the hottest months) are during the months of July and August. After Labour Day weekend until towards the end of September, the temperatures are still mild and it's the ideal time to arrive in order to avoid the crowds. October into early November are usually the best time for viewing the autumn foliage. In the winter Niagara Falls is the home to many winter-themed festivals as well as an enchanting selection of outdoor activities like skiing, snowshoeing, and skating.
