The teenager who left her Kentucky home and high school at the age of 16 to work at Dollywood has developed into a woman who embraces the genre's progressive evolution. This dedicated composer has resonated with her followers and gained the attention of music journalists from Billboard, NPR, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times.
It's been a decade since Pearce made her Grand Ole Opry debut as an unsigned artist in 2015. The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame member is past realizing her childhood ambition; breaking down barriers in country music with her PLATINUM-certified albums and wins. Fittingly invited by Dolly Parton, Pearce was inducted as a Grand Ole Opry member in 2021; and celebrated her 100th performance on the stage in 2023. Pearce has garnered a long line of successes and accolades; such as, ACM Single of the Year, CMT Artist of the Year, ACM/CMA Female Artist/Vocalist of the Year. In 2023 she took home a GRAMMY® for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Ashley McBryde from her critically acclaimed and commercially lauded third studio album 29.
Pearce's fourth album, hummingbird, was released in 2024 following her 100th Grand Ole Opry performance. Her slow-burning lyrics continue to reverberate with honesty and mellifluence. The highly anticipated album includes lead single “We Don’t Fight Anymore” (featuring Chris Stapleton), which earned Pearce her second GRAMMY® nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and fifth Top 5 Country Radio hit, as well as the blazing single “Truck On Fire” which Pearce debuted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
