Default at OLG Stage

Juno Award winning, Canadian rock band, Default, is best known for their smash hits, "Wasting My Time," "It Only Hurts," and "Deny." Originally formed in Vancouver in the late 90s, the band released four albums and has sold millions of records to dates. Lead vocalist, Dallas Smith, has continued with a record setting country music career; but the band still comes together to perform their hard-rocking music.

Joining Default at the OLG Stage, is Canadian band, Wide Mouth Mason. Formed in Saskatoon in the mid 90s, Wide Mouth Mason is a blues/rock/roots duo renowned for their fluid, agile musicianship and dynamic live performances. With Shaun Verreault on lead vocals, guitar and 3-slide lap steel, and Safwan Javed on drums and percussion, they have produced a decades-deep catalogue including many rock radio hits, multiple gold records, and a track on the classic million+ selling Big Shiny Tunes 2 album.

Wide Mouth Mason has played clubs, theatres, arenas and festivals, toured with The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and ZZ Top, and appeared in the Al Pacino/Colin Farrell film The Recruit and its soundtrack. The band's latest record, Late Night Walking, featuring Big Sugar’s Gordie Johnson on bass, was released in 2023.
