Tim Hicks & Friends
Light of Day Canada Presents: Tim Hicks & Friends
Saturday, November 7th 2027 | 7:00pm
Meridian Centre - 1 David S Howes Way, St. Catharines, ON
Country music takes center stage at Meridian Centre when Tim Hicks headlines with Special Guests: Steven Page, Teenage Head, Miss Emily Band, Stephen Stanley & Noelectric, and Evan Rotella Band. In just over twelve years, Light of Day Canada has raised over $500,000 in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This year's concert delivers a potent mix of modern country energy, from Hicks’ signature party anthems to a line up of outstanding Canadian musical talent.
Tim Hicks: Hit-Packed Headliner
A mainstay of Canadian country, Hicks brings his Platinum-certified hits—including “No Truck Song” and “What A Song Should Do”—alongside newer tracks like “Quits” and the reflective “I Miss Tom Petty.” Known for his relatable lyrics and stadium-ready energy, Hicks turns every show into a singalong celebration.
Steven Page: Co-founder of Barenaked Ladies
After launching his wildly popular virtual concert series conducted via Zoom in April 2020, Page 'workshopped' the bulk of The Excelsior from the 90 LIVE from home episodes available through Patreon. These intimate live shows were only available to a maximum of 1000 ticketed audience members; making way for the much anticipated digital release of Excelsior. Following the reopening of Canada-US border, Page was able to complete Excelsior at his Fresh Baked Woods studio in Blackstock, Ontario.
Alongside the all Canadian line up, other performers include, Astrid Young, Samantha Ava, Gravely James, York Street Thought Process, and Joe D'Urso.
