In Ontario, the holiday was created to honour John Graves Simcoe who was the creator of the birthplace of modern Toronto, as well as to celebrate diverse Canadian culture. But each province and territory has adopted it’s own reason to celebrate.

Best Parking: Secure full day parking at 4960 Clifton Hill. It has a flat fee for the day and over 700 parking spots; as well as, accessible parking closely located to all nearby attractions, restaurants, and just minutes away from the falls. There is no overnight parking or in-and-out privileges.
