This May you can bask in all of the beauty and glory of the newest flower display at the Niagara Parks Showhouse. The Annual Hydrangea Show is one of Niagara Parks’ most spectacular. The majority of the hydrangeas on display are between the ages of five and ten. Our horticulturists start preparing the hydrangeas in the fall so that they can blossom beautifully in the spring. Our crew of growers instals the exhibit in the North and Centre residences in about a week. They start by disassembling and cleaning the previous show. Following large plants, little supporting plants are chosen and put. To ensure that the presentation is always picture-perfect, we keep about 10% of the plants grown for each display in the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse greenhouse.
