She was extremely knowledgable about the wines and the food pairings, and did an excellent job giving us the wine notes to look for in each wine before and after pairing with the food. She was excited about the process and made us feel that way, too! Highly, highly recommend booking a pairing tasting, and no previous wine experience needed as the host does an exceptional job in breaking everything down! Clifton Hill is the prime destination for first-time dates or long-time couples to go for entertainment. We combine fun activities, with the beautiful backdrop of the Falls.

See why we are the best time for a date on Clifton Hill with this list.

The kids are still in school for a couple more months, so take the opportunity to make the most of the alone time before the kids get out for summer vacation. Monday through Friday is a great time to enjoy all of Niagara’s best attractions without long wait times and excitable children running around. And now that Clifton Hill is extending into its Spring hours, we are now open late. Grab a sitter and stop by in the evening for a romantic evening of fun when the sun has set.

Niagara SkyWheel

Take your crush 175-feet up into the air for a view of the Niagara Falls unlike any other! The Niagara Skywheel gives you and that special someone a panoramic view of one of the world’s natural wonders for an unforgettable experience. The private, climate controlled gondolas make the ride more intimate, making it one of the perfect spots to steal a kiss and grab a selfie.

The Niagara SkyWheel operates all day into the very late evening. To get the best bang for your buck, purchase the Clifton Hill Fun Pass and get the SkyWheel plus an additional FIVE great attractions to make it the ultimate date out!

Niagara Speedway

The Niagara Speedway is not just the ideal attraction for adrenaline junkies hoping to test their driving skills, it’s also the perfect activity for a date. The Niagara Speedway is arguably the most popular attraction on Clifton Hill, so sometimes you can expect to wait a little while before it’s your turn to ride. But if you opt to come during the day on a weekday while the little ones are still at school, you might just have the racetrack all to yourselves!

Kelsey’s Restaurant

KELSEYS and its amazing outdoor patio has the best views overlooking the main promenade of Clifton Hill, Victoria Avenue and the Niagara Speedway. With a wide selection of delicious meal options and refreshing cocktails, wines, and 22 beers on tap, you’re bound to have a great time! Sit in one of our intimate booths, or a high-top around the bar; either way you’ll be treated to the perfect view and with great company.

Take in the Nightly Illumination Display

It doesn’t get much more romantic than watching Niagara Falls lit up in multiple gorgeous colours. A stroll down Clifton Hill, will take you to either the Oakes Garden Theatre or Queen Victoria Park, with either gracing you with a view that can’t be beat!

This month, the 2023 Niagara Falls Illumination series runs 8pm to 2am from April 1 to May 14th with special displays throughout the season:
