In operation since 1955, Avondale Dairy Bar has been a popular stop for ice cream for many generations of local residents. Sit outside and relax in Niagara farm country and enjoy! Behind the store is the working dairy farm with approximately 90 Holstein cows (Stewart Haven Farms).

Italian Ice Cream has been a family business in operation since 1978. They offer gelato, coffee, panini, or desserts. Their homemade products are peanut free and their gelato base is gluten-free, as well as do not use any hydrogenated oils. COWS Ice Cream began in 1983 with an old-fashioned recipe from Cavendish, PEI. They use cream with a very high butterfat content of approximately 16%. The result is very creamy and melts in your mouth. They use only fresh cream, real eggs, and sugar, and you can choose from 32 + flavors. Their Chocolate ice cream (featured in picture) is made with the finest cocoa imported from Holland.
