Eid Family Festival

As Muslims all over the world observe Ramadan this year, they await the sighting of the crescent moon on the 29th day of fasting; marking the celebration of Eid following a 30 day fast. In Niagara Falls, Ramadan began on Wednesday, February 18th 2026; as reported by the Muslim Association of Canada. Although Eid Day will not be finalized until the first appearance of the crescent moon; Niagara Falls Convention Centre is ready and waiting to host this year's Eid Family Festival.

In the province of Ontario, Eid Day falls at the end of March Break; meaning families can go a little further in commemorating the end of Ramadan.
