Since he made his breakthrough as a part of the Jonas Brothers in 2005, Nick Jonas attracted legions of young fans with his fizzy, Disney-approved pop songs early in his career. Following this Nick began working with several other musicians on a side project in late 2009. Members from Prince's New Power Generation were recruited to join the lineup, including Michael Bland and Tommy Barbarella, and the group dubbed itself Nick Jonas & the Administration before making its debut in early 2010 with the album Who I Am that.
After a few years spent on other projects, Nick Jonas regrouped with a 2014 solo tour followed by the November release of an eponymous album. He received multiple nominations and was awarded Coolest Crossover Artist in the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards. Since his Queen Victoria Park performance on New Years Eve, where he shared the stage with Shawn Mendes, Keith Urban, and LIGHTS; Nick was awarded Favourite Male Singer at the 2015 Kids Choice Awards.
