Micky Dolenz, an actor, musician, TV producer, and businessman, has been an entertainer from the age of ten. Micky was cast in the TV show The Monkees in 1965, alongside colleagues Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork. The Monkees' debut single, "Last Train to Clarksville," debuted at number one on the charts. Micky and his "TV Bandmates" went on to establish a genuine live rock band after the Monkees series premiered to immediate acclaim, earning two Emmy Awards. They gained their greatest success as actual recording artists, with many Billboard Top singles including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer," "Daydream Believer," and others.
