Darius Rucker first rose to prominence in the music industry as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the Grammy Award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish, who have sold over 25 million albums worldwide. Rucker has amassed a slew of new fans since releasing his first country album in 2008, with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard country chart, 10 No. 1 singles at country radio, and 11 Gold, Platinum, or multi-Platinum certified hits.
Rucker became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2012 and won his third Grammy Award for Best Solo Country Performance in 2014 for his nine-time platinum version of "Wagon Wheel" on The Old Crow Medicine Show.
