Niagara Falls Fireworks Show and Live Entertainment

The Niagara Falls Fireworks shows rev up for another exciting season. These are completely free to view as they take place over the Niagara Falls. Watch them from Queen Victoria Park (at the bottom of Clifton Hill) on Friday, May 19th, Sunday, May 21st and on Victoria Day, Monday, May 22nd, 2017.

Enjoy free live entertainment begiining at 1:00 pm on May 19th at the Grand View Marketplace (in the Hornblower Niagara Cruises plaza).

Virgil Stampede

This is the 51st Anniversary of the Virgil Stampede on May 20, 21 & 22, 2017. There is rides, games, events and delicious food. There is a charge of $5.00/Adult and free for children under 15, however on Sunday, May 21st, the admission is FREE (11:00 am to 10:00 pm on Sunday).

Morningstar Mill Heritage Site Reopens

Morningstar Mill is a heritage site located at Decew Falls in St.Catharines. The site backs onto the Bruce Trail, and is a popular picnic and photo location for residents and visitors. It features a working grist mill rebuilt in 1872, and is one of the few mills in Ontario that houses all its original equipment. It operates its millstones using the original water source. Admission is free.

Opens on Victoria Day, May 22nd, 2017 until Oct. 14, 2017
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Weekends: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Canada 150 Niagara-on-the-Lake May 21st Celebration

This is a free event from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 21st at Niagara on the Green Park.

City of Welland Victoria Day

Welland Sports Complex on Quaker Road will feature a free event with lazertag, inflatables, face painting, arts, crafts and more. Fireworks happen at 9:30pm with a rain date of Monday, May 22 at 9:30pm (fireworks only).

“Happy Rolph’s” Opens For The Season

“Happy Rolph’s” Animal Farm opens on Victoria Day weekend (until Thanksgiving weekend), and is located along the shores of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines. Kids get to view a variety of animals and birds in a natural setting. There is a nature trail, a picnic area and a pavilion, along with a large playground for the kids to blow off some steam after viewing all the farm animals! Completely free admission and is located at 650 Read Rd.

This includes the Oakes Garden Theatre (above photo), Queen Victoria Park, the Botanical GardensDufferin Islands, and the Floral Clock. If you are coming to Niagara Falls this May long weekend to witness our free fireworks shows, you will find convenience with our parking lot on Clifton Hill. It was recently expanded for more parking, and easier accessibilty in and out of the lot.
