Tenille Townes
Born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, the 31-year-old singer-songwriter earned accolades for her wise-beyond-her-years ballads before she moved to Nashville in 2013. After years of taking in sets at the Bluebird Café and pushing herself in writing sessions, she started winning over Music Row with the songs that would eventually shape her acoustic EP, Living Room Worktapes.
Townes wow's audiences with her captivating stage presence, powerful vocals, and ability to connect with her listeners through personal storytelling. Her recent work is described as exploring a new sonic direction with indie-rock influences and a focus on vulnerability.
A two-time Juno Award Winner, including one for Country Album of the Year and 17 CCMA Awards; including 5 consecutive awards for New Female Artist of the Year, a record breaking achievement. She was awarded New Female Artist of the Year again at the ACM Awards and is recognized for being the first female to have two #1 singles on Canadian Country Music charts. Townes was also awarded Songwriter of the Year for her collaboration with Bryan Adams on "The Thing That Wrecks You."
Jessica Sevier
Joining Tenille Townes is new emerging artist, Jessica Sevier. Toronto-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jessica Sevier merges country, roots, and Americana influences with rock energy and R&B touches, creating music as edgy and raw as her lyrics.
