Canada Day Long Weekend Activities in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Activities for the Canada Day Long Weekend
The first official long weekend of the summer!

July 1st Monday Night at 10 P.M.
Fired from the base of the Niagara gorge, directly across from the American Falls, a spectacular Canada Day pyrotechnic display will kick off the weekend celebrations in style! To get the best view on Canada Day, be sure to watch from the bottom of Clifton Hill. (Locals secret). These spectacular Canada Day fireworks are provided free for your viewing pleasure! Don’t forget free Coca-Cola sponsored concerts at 8:00 pm! This year features the sounds of “Electric Blonde”. The band’s lead singer Lynzie Kent is the former lead singer of the Juno nominated “God Made Me Funky” and was recently nominated (2012) by Now Magazine as one of Toronto’s best female vocalists.

July 1st Monday, 3rd Wednesday and 4th Thursday at 3:00 & 8:30 P.M.
The Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, will be celebrating with an array of shows from “Rock and Soul”, an exclusive artist roster of eight feature performers that celebrate the music of The Temptations, Bob Seger, The Supremes, Mitch Ryder, Tower of Power, Hall & Oates, Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls and more! Click here for ticket information.

July 4th Thursday Night at 10P.M.
Some more fireworks put on by the Niagara Parks at 10:00 pm and another free concert at 8:00 pm by “Disco Nation”. Another night of watching fireworks might call for a different perspective. Why not from the Niagara Skywheel? The Skywheel is Canada’s largest giant wheel and offers an amazing view 175 feet above the Falls. The SkyWheel is also one of 5 great attractions included on the Clifton Hill FUN PASS, all for only $25.95. It is the best value for attractions in Niagara Falls.

Niagara’s fireworks are a great way to kick off an amazing night on Clifton Hill’s World Famous Street of Fun by the Falls! After the fireworks, be sure to stop by the Great Canadian Midway on your way up ‘The Hill’ and enjoy the challenge of over 300 interactive games! Hungry? A late night snack at Boston Pizza or Kelsey’s Bar & Grill might be in order. Both have a great selection of appetizers and entrées perfect for sharing!
