New Extended Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls

Canada’s foremost illumination festival in Niagara Falls is back for its 39th season, and this time it has been extended for 101 nights! November 13th, 2021 – February 21st, 2022!

At nearly doubling the traditional length of the festival, there is now more opportunity to experience the beauty of sparkling lights and larger-than-life exhibits. With 3 million lights and spectacular displays along the Niagara Parkway, Dufferin Islands and across Niagara Falls, the first half of the WFOL runs from November 13, 2021 to January 9, 2022. Get the opportunity to take in 3D animal and holiday themed displays, including the giant gingerbread house, a 20 ft. polar bear and fairy tale castle, plus 28 new displays since 2020. Best of all? This is completely FREE to witness!

The NEW second half of the Festival runs from January 10 – February 21, 2022 with a focus on a winter wonderland of love themed displays — just in time for Valentine’s Day! 3D animals from Dufferin Islands will magically appear in other parts of the tourism district for you to discover and holiday themed displays will be replaced with new illuminations.

Complimenting your tour, guests would thoroughly enjoy viewing the light displays from high above on Canada’s largest observation wheel, the Niagara SkyWheel. Here, they can see the twinkling lights and the majestic Falls lit up. Afterwards, our Clifton Hill Tim Hortons is conveniently located across from the SkyWheel, so that groups can then pick up a hot beverage and get back on the bus to enjoy the light displays in the warm comfort of their coach.

The Winter Festival of Lights has grown into one of North America’s largest and most recognized holiday light shows, attracting millions of visitors annually and  hundreds of motor coach tours each year.
