Queen Victoria Park is an ideal place to slow the evening down. Rather than treating the illuminated Falls as another attraction to check off, give yourself some time to walk, find a viewpoint and simply watch the colour, water and mist.
Build Your Evening Around the 10 P.M. Fireworks
For visitors coming between late summer and early autumn, the fireworks provide the easiest anchor around which to build the rest of the evening.
For 2026, Niagara Parks has scheduled nightly Falls fireworks from now until October 12 at 10 p.m., weather permitting.
Niagara Parks identifies Queen Victoria Park as the best general outdoor viewing area, including the main lawn and parapet along the Niagara Parkway. The fireworks are launched from within the Niagara Gorge between the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

The current 2026 offering is a roughly 40-minute evening cruise that travels into the Niagara Gorge for views of the illuminated Falls and fireworks. Niagara City Cruises notes that the cruise is seasonal and that fireworks remain weather dependent.
This is a must-do boat-tour experience with its boarding area right at the bottom of Clifton Hill, making it very relatively easy to incorporate into your evening activities.
If you choose the cruise, simplify the rest of your itinerary. A SkyWheel ride, dinner and the cruise can be more satisfying than trying to squeeze half a dozen attractions around a fixed departure time.
