Niagara Falls Hosts Free Concert: The Glorious Sons After Total Solar Eclipse

Get ready for a celestial celebration in Niagara Falls, Canada! After the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024, stay for a rocking post-eclipse show. Niagara Falls Tourism proudly presents an impressive lineup of performers, headlined by Ontario’s own The Glorious Sons at Queen Victoria Park.

The free concert will kick off with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra playing a prelude to the eclipse and will resume once totality is reached. The entertainment extravaganza, featuring The Glorious Sons, JJ Wilde, New Friends, The Boneheads, and a special performance from the Niagara Symphony Orchestra, will continue until 10 p.m.

Mayor Jim Diodati of the City of Niagara Falls says, “This is like nothing you’ve seen before or will see again in your lifetime!” The eclipse, with Niagara Falls as the epicenter on the path of totality, promises an unforgettable experience.

Niagara Falls Tourism President and CEO, Janice Thomson, adds, “The Eclipse is shaping up to be a once-in-a-lifetime moment over Niagara Falls and is one not to be missed.”

OTHER ECLIPSE-RELATED EVENTS

Niagara Parks will host a variety of events from April 5 to 8, including Astronomy in Action, Mad Science, TMU’s SciXchange, and NASA & CSA Talks.

The City of Niagara Falls will also feature exciting events like the Star Wars Intergalactic Dance Party on April 6 and a Guinness World Record Attempt on April 8 for the most people dressed like the sun in Queen Victoria Park.
