Château des Charmes was founded in 1978 by Paul Bosc, a fifth-generation French winegrower and among the earliest Niagara wineries to earn international acclaim. Paul and his young family arrived in Niagara in the 1960’s with the idea that growing their own grapes was the best way to make fine wine.

My family and I went on a hot Friday afternoon and were placed by the hostess at the front Dome located right beside the vineyard. Our server was very knowledgeable and we got to select four delicious wines. The dome was built beautifully with a fan to keep us cool.
