5 Reasons why Clifton Hill is a MUST this Holiday Season

Here are 5 reasons why Clifton Hill should be on top of your mind this Holiday Season.

Next to the Niagara Falls itself, visiting Clifton Hill is a staple of Niagara Tourism. People have always considered Clifton Hill as a “Summer destination”, but nothing could be farther from the truth! We like to think of ourselves as a “year round” destination. Here are 5 reasons why Clifton Hill should be on top of your mind this Holiday Season.

1

We are open 365 days a year…Including the Holiday’s

via cliftonhill.com

We cater to tourism. That said, there are many people who travel when they get their time off of work — Christmas Holidays being one of them. It is estimated that the Niagara Falls receives an estimated 30 million visitors in a year; with a huge bulk of those travelers that wish to frequent family fun attractions, restaurants, and shops. This is why the Clifton Hill facilities will stay open 365 days a year. There is no sense in staying at any Niagara Falls hotel without having fun options and things to do!

We offer attractions that will remain open, such as the Niagara SkyWheel, which is climate-controlled and enclosed, and not open to the elements like the traditional ferris wheels. The SkyWheel is actually an “observation wheel”; which basically translates into an essentially bigger and more sophisticated Ferris wheel.

Stay connected with our Clifton Hill Hours of Operation which gets updated as the days go on.

Who would have thought? We are romantic too!

You don’t generally think of Clifton Hill as the place to go for romance — but we are! With this year’s Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights taking place throughout the winter, Clifton Hill is a Winter Wonderland of romantic lights! From the top of Clifton Hill along Victoria Avenue, to the bottom at the Oakes Garden Theatre, Clifton Hill has beautiful Christmas displays for the perfect picture.

The Oakes Garden Theatre has always been the place to go for the perfect engagement or wedding photo. It is a quiet, romantic, and serene location on Clifton Hill/Niagara Parkway for an ideal photo opportunity.

What better way to celebrate a spark flying romance than with the Niagara Falls Holiday fireworks display! They occur every night between December 22nd, 2017  to January 1st, 2018 (excluding December 30th)!

Clifton Hill Laser Light Shows

via cliftonhill.com

The Clifton Hill Laser Light Shows happen on the Victoria Promenade across from Louis Tussaud’s Wax Works nightly from December 22nd to January 7th!

These are 15-minute shows that will entice audiences with a spectacular range of colored laser beams and smoke machines that feed on high energy. They are a real crowd pleaser and make a fun night out for the entire family.

Showtimes: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm

Everyone should come and watch the fantastic Laser Light show at one of three locations this Festival season. The Laser Light show will entertain the young and those that are young at heart with impressive lights choreographed to music. At these shows you feel like you’re at a big rock concert or DJ show, but the show is made with the entire family in mind, so not only will your children enjoy it but adults will really have just as much fun as the kids.

In addition to these free shows, attendees can have fun with interactive laser booths in which they can write messages or draw pictures onto a nearby building with laser-lights.
