TORONTO, Dec. 3 /CNW/ – Global Television and Entertainment Tonight Canada welcome 2010 with ‘New Year’s Eve in Niagara Falls’, a fun-filled evening in celebration of the coming year.
The nationwide fete is an ET Canada first and will kick off with a 90-minute live broadcast from the Falls on Thursday, December 31 beginning at 11pm ET/PT on Global. ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli, Kim D’Eon, Rosey Edeh and Roz Weston will lead the countdown and ‘rock in’ the New Year with special performances by legendary rockers STYX and the multiple Juno Award-winning and Grammy-nominated, Glass Tiger.
“We’re delighted to partner with the Niagara Parks Commission and the City of Niagara Falls to deliver this exciting New Year’s Eve celebration to audiences nationwide,” said Barbara Williams, EVP of Content, Canwest Broadcasting. “ET Canada will bring its signature style to the year’s biggest night for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.”
