It’s harvest season in Niagara, and this means people are grabbing their little ones and heading out to take advantage of the Niagara pumpkin farms! There are plenty of things to do in Niagara once the weather gets cooler, and pumpkin picking while having fun with the kids is among one of the top favorites. Here is a list of some of Niagara’s best:
Howells Family Pumpkin Farm

There is a wide variety of things to do! As you can see from the photo below, there are plenty of ways to “Have Fun @ Howell’s”! They are open 7 days a week from Friday, October 7th until October 31st, however they are open on September 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25th and October 1st and 2nd for the weekends.

 Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm

Location: 7705 Schisler Road, Niagara Falls, ON. 905-384-2684
Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm offers over 200 acres of year round entertainment for the whole family. They are open daily from 8:00 am to Dusk and there is no general admission fee. This is a real working Belgian horse farm, with many daily activities. There are pony rides for the children for $4.00, horse drawn hay rides, a petting zoo, and a corn maze (all $2.00 each). On weekends (weather permitting) there is also an inflatable bounce house, and Belgian horse-drawn carriage rides (10 am to 4 pm) for $2.00 as well.
They offer pumpkins of every shape and size, corn stalks, straw, hay bales, apples, squash, Indian corn, and more to complete your Fall and Halloween decorating needs at one of the most popular Niagara pumpkin farms.

Bry-Anne Farms Pumpkin Patch

Location: 471 Foss Road, Fenwick, ON. (905) 892-8999

Bry-Anne Farms is open almost year round, but in October it becomes “The Great Pumpkin Patch”. Open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, you can visit the Pumpkin Discovery Center, play miniature golf, take a hayride, get lost in the straw or hay maze or explore the barn. Kids can also play in the hay playplace. Homemade apple or pumpkin pies may be purchased here, as well as apples, pumpkins, sweet corn, various kinds of vegetables, squash and gourds and hay bails for home use. The farm has a variety of animals, and visitors can tour the century old barn.
