41st Annual Winter Festival of Lights Opening Celebration

Get ready for a dazzling kickoff to the holiday season at Niagara Parks! On November 18, join us for a free outdoor celebration in Queen Victoria Park, marking the official start of the 41st Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights, presented by Niagara Falls Tourism.

What to Expect:

• DJ Nicholas Picholas spinning tunes
• Interactive lighting displays throughout Queen Victoria Park
• The return of the Annual Poinsettia Show at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse

Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights:
Running from November 18, 2023, to January 7, 2024, this festival transforms the Niagara region into a twinkling wonderland. With over 3 million lights and 75+ displays along the Niagara Parkway to Dufferin Islands, it's Canada's premier illumination festival.

Kick-Off Celebration Highlights:
Join us on November 18 for the official festival launch. DJ Nicholas Picholas sets the musical scene, Circus Orange performs gravity-defying acts at 7:30 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display at 8 p.m. Enjoy the illuminated Falls every night!

Niagara Parks offers a free hop-on, hop-off shuttle from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., connecting you to illuminations at Table Rock Centre, Grand View, and Queen Victoria Place.

Annual Poinsettia Display:
Starting November 18, escape the cold at the Floral Showhouse. The Poinsettia Show features traditional holiday landscapes with vibrant colors and special evening hours from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Hot Chocolate Trail:
Satisfy your chocolate cravings on the self-guided Hot Chocolate Trail. Indulge in delightful concoctions at top restaurants and bake shops, including Table Rock House Restaurant, where a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate awaits!
