Travel across Canada without leaving Niagara

The 13 For 13 Cultural Festival is a one-of-a-kind project that has never been carried out by another Canada Games host before, and we are thrilled to invite you to it!

Each of Niagara’s 13 municipalities will work with one of Canada’s 13 provinces or territories to present the distinctive cultural heritage, entertainment, art, and culinary experiences of each pairing during their designated special night during this festival event, which will take place on a few evenings between August 7 and 2022. (see schedule and pairings below). The Niagara Host Society is delighted to offer a chance for Canadians to unite in celebration of what makes this country so unique as we continue to emerge from what have been difficult times.

13 For 13 Events
During the 2022 Canada Games, the 13 For 13 Cultural Festival will travel from municipality to municipality each night, and entrance is free for everybody.

In order to travel across Canada without leaving Niagara, festival attendees will have the opportunity to sample the cultures of each province and territory. This opportunity should encourage many people to go throughout this vast country.
