Every year, Canada’s foremost illumination festival in the beautiful Niagara Falls captures the magic of the holiday season with the Winter Festival of Lights. It attracts over 1.5 million visitors and hundreds of motor coaches annually.  Recognized as a Festival of Distinction by Festivals & Events Ontario and a Top 100 Internationally Known Event in North America by the American Bus Association for the past several years, and was recently included in the Top 10 Canada’s best winter festivals by canoe.ca. Expect to view an array of over 120 animated displays made up of millions of holiday lights! This majestic display frames the most beautiful attraction of all, the Niagara Falls and all along the Niagara Parks “Winter Wonderland” and the adjoining tourist districts.

It’s back! The 19th Annual Niagara Icewine Festival will be underway from January 10th-26th, 2014. For three weekends in January (10th-12th, 17th-19th & 24th-26th), you have the opportunity to taste this Ontario specialty made from grapes left to freeze naturally on the vine. The Niagara Region is recognized as producing some of the world’s finest icewine, and now is your chance to try it out during the Niagara Icewine Festival!

TD Rink at the Brink (Current – February 28, 2014)

The TD Rink at the Brink is an open-air, outdoor ice skating rink located literally right next to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, adjacent to the Table Rock Centre at 6650 Niagara Parkway. It offers breathtaking views and a magical outdoor Niagara Falls ice skating experience.
Sundays: 12pm – 9pm Mondays – Thursdays: 4pm – 9pm Fridays: 4pm – 10pm Saturdays: 12pm – 10pm

The Fallsview Casino presents Jersey Nights (January 3rd – 13th, 2014), 38 Special (Saturday, January 18th, 2014), Alan Jackson (January 21st-22nd, 2014) and the Commodores (January 24th-25th, 2014).
Niagara Falls History Museum presents: SPACE (January 16th, 2014 – April 2014)

The Niagara Falls History Museum located at 5810 Ferry Street, presents “Space”. Stretch out under the stars in a portable planetarium and see a moon rock on loan from NASA that was brought back to earth from an Apollo mission!
The museum is closed on Monday’s, but open from 10:00am – 5:00pm daily, with the exception of Thursday’s which has extended hours from 10:00am – 9:00pm. Prices are $5.00 for Adults, $4.00 for Students (with photo ID) and Children aged 6-9. Children 5 and under are free. A family of 5 can get in for $15 (max. 3 Adults).

Greg Frewin Theatre presents The Legend in Black: A Johnny Cash Tribute (Friday, January 31st, 2014)

The Greg Frewin Theatre presents “The Legend in Black: A Johnny Cash Tribute” on Friday, January 31st, 2014. Bill Cayley has been performing around North America for more than 40 years and his resume also contains a long-standing relationship as friend and road manager to the legendary Ronnie Hawkins. He performs with a June Carter-Cash character as well, which has put The Legend In Black a total cut above the rest.
Tickets are $19.98 – $34.98 + HST (and ticket processing fee of $3.90 per ticket) for the show. Tickets are $24.80 + HST and grat. for Adults and $14.80 + HST and grat. for Children for the dinner.
