The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) and its Niagara Falls New Year's Eve event partners are pleased to announce an exciting roster of musical talent has been assembled for this year’s FREE New Year's concert in Queen Victoria Park. On December 31st, ring in 2020!
The Niagara Falls New Year's concert in Queen Victoria Park (QVP) draws approximately 50,000 people to the Park, and this year is expected to be no different, so come out and celebrate with us and enjoy two spectacular fireworks displays planned for 9:15 p.m. and midnight that evening, sponsored by Tim Hortons. Not only with the free outdoor celebration feature two fireworks displays, but also a variety of food and beverage options, including an outdoor licensed area. The first fireworks show, sponsored by Tim Hortons, is set to take place at 9:15 p.m., while the second show, set off from the Skylon Tower, will ring in the New Year as the clock strikes midnight.
New Year’s Eve is one of Niagara Falls’ busiest and best nights of the year! It is exciting to see the whole city coming alive, as Niagara provides more to do than anywhere else in Canada on this special night. Visitors and residents alike should come on down and enjoy the entire tourism district in full swing – from great music in Queen Victoria Park to family fun at Clifton Hill's World Famous Street, to the high-energy gaming at the Niagara Casinos; as well as enjoy the many restaurants and spectacular hotel getaways, Niagara is the place to be on New Year’s Eve.

Nothing beats being here in person of course, celebrating at the site of our natural wonder, or the amazing bands and entertainment! We promise that this year’s show will have the stuff of memories that will last the whole year through!”
Headlining this year’s concert and joining guests in ringing in the New Year will be one of the most exciting live musicians in the world - Bryan Adams. With an influence that has spanned four decades, his song writing has garnered him numerous awards and accolades including three Academy Award nominations, five Golden Globe nominations and a Grammy Award.
Adams has released 14 studio albums and his most recent recording “Shine a Light”, whose title track was co-written by Ed Sheeran, debuted at number one on the album charts in March of 2019. The album also features a duet with Jennifer Lopez. A singer, songwriter, record producer, photographer, philanthropist and activist, Adams continues to tour the globe playing his big ballads and iconic rock and roll hits which have become mainstays on rock radio.
Walk Off the Earth:
The outdoor celebrations kick off at 8:30 p.m. and will include Juno Award winning, multi-platinum musical phenomenon, Walk Off the Earth. After facing a major and unexpected loss with the sudden death of band member Mike “Beard Guy” Taylor last year, Walk Off the Earth is back and plan to use this opportunity to honour and share the extraordinary legacy that Mike left behind.
The band has a new hit song “I’ll Be There”, which is not only climbing up the US and Canadian charts, but also making big waves overseas. Their new album, “Here We Go” will be released through Sony on October 25, 2019 and has already been heralded as their best work yet.
Niagara Falls singer Valerie Borghesi has had a big year of steady touring, opening for Hollerado. nabbing music award nominations and releasing her debut single and video this summer.
She caps her eventful year by opening for Canadian music legends Bryan Adams and Walk Off the Earth at the New Year's Eve concert in Queen Victoria Park.

Please note no alcohol is permitted on-site and as always, dress appropriately for all outdoor events. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be available, you won't have to go far for refreshments during this spectacular celebration. And with our outdoor licensed area, everything you need is right here! As always, the presence of security and policing will be on-site to ensure everyone's safety throughout the night.
You may have been to the Falls 100 times, but have you ever arrived at the same time as thousands of other people? New Years in Niagara Falls has traffic! Please, We can’t stress it enough, expect to arrive and be parked at your destination by 8:30 pm at the latest. Choose a spot close enough to the New Year’s festivities, that is also walking distance from wherever you plan on having dinner, etc. If you plan on seeing the New Year’s Eve concert down at Queen Victoria Park, hopefully you picked a hotel within walking distance to the show. A parking lot that is close to the concert in the park, both casinos (Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino), and all the main Clifton Hill attractions, is just off Victoria Avenue. If you enter the parking lot from here, you will fare much better in getting in quickly — whereas entering at the front (off Clifton Hill) will be difficult depending on your time of arrival. It is large and extends from the rear of the Niagara SkyWheel all the way to the Skylon Tower. You should have no problem finding a parking spot here, and the wait to leave the property afterwards will be far less compared to elsewhere. There are two entrances and three exits. Route #1 From Highway 420 1. Once you are on Highway 420 heading towards the Falls 2. Turn RIGHT onto MacDonald Avenue 3. Turn LEFT onto Centre St. 4. Turn RIGHT on Victoria Ave. 5. Turn LEFT into the Clifton Hill Parking side entrance. Once parked, it's a quick walk to the main event.
Route #2 From Highway 20 (turns into Lundy's Lane) 1. Follow Highway 20 past Thorold Townline Road (where it turns into Lundy's Lane) 2. Continue Past Stanley Avenue 3. Continue onto Ferry Street 4. Ferry turns onto Victoria Ave, go RIGHT into the Clifton Hill Parking side entrance. Once parked, it's a quick walk to the main event.
Route #3 From Thorold Stone Road 1. If you are on the QEW heading south towards Niagara Falls you will see signs for Thorold Stone Road. 2. Take the Thorold Stone Road exit and turn LEFT, continue all the way through to Stanley Avenue, slight right. 3. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 420. 4. Then RIGHT onto MacDonald Avenue 5. Turn LEFT onto Centre St. 6. Turn RIGHT on Victoria Ave. 7. Turn LEFT into the Clifton Hill Parking side entrance. Once parked, it's a quick walk to the main event.
Route #4 From McLeod Road 1. On the QEW, head south towards the Falls and take the McLeod Rd exit and turn left. 2. Travel through to the Marineland Parkway and turn LEFT on Stanley Ave 3. Turn RIGHT onto Ferry Street 4. Ferry turns onto Victoria Ave, go RIGHT into the Clifton Hill Parking side entrance. Once parked, it's a quick walk to the main event.
Helpful Tips for Concert-Goers
WEGO Bus Transportation – Niagara Parks will be operating an extended WEGO Green Line bus service between the Niagara Falls Train Station / Bus Terminal (4267 Bridge Street) and the Clifton Hill WEGO Stop (intersection of Clifton Hill and Niagara Parkway), with buses running every 30 minutes from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The WEGO Blue and Red Lines, which travel throughout the city of Niagara Falls, will be operating until 1:30 a.m. For more information on all WEGO bus routes and schedules for New Year’s Eve, please visit: www.wegoniagarafalls.com/routes.
Designate a Meeting Spot – Niagara Parks recommends that friends and family attending the show take a moment at the beginning of the evening to assign a designated time and location as a meeting place, should individuals become separated following the show’s conclusion. Please ensure everyone in your party is aware of this location, particularly children attending the event. Should any child be separated from their party, they will be escorted to a First Aid van, which will be located on Murray Street.
Dress for the Weather – Visitors are advised to dress warmly and in layers to prepare for all types of weather conditions and take extra precautions to protect extremities such as hands, feet and ears.
Warm-up Station – Niagara Parks will once again offer a warm up area on two heated WEGO buses stationed in front of Queen Victoria Place (across the street from the event site). The buses will be available from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
As always, the presence of security and policing will be on-site to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the night.

Scheduled lane closures will commence on Tuesday, December 31, as follows:
Murray Street – Westbound lanes from Queen Victoria Park to the Skylon Driveway will be closed to vehicles beginning at 3 p.m., while eastbound lanes into the Park will be closed at Skylon Driveway starting at 8 p.m. Both directions of Murray Hill from Fallsview Boulevard to Queen Victoria Park will be closed by 10 p.m.
Clifton Hill – Clifton Hill from Victoria Avenue to Falls Avenue will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting at 8 p.m.
Niagara Parkway/River Road – The Niagara Parkway from Clifton Hill to Fraser Hill will be closed to all vehicular traffic (including WEGO bus service) at 8 p.m.
NOTE: Roads subject to close earlier by police order if required for public safety.
