This year’s local Christmas markets provide some wonderful gifting options all winter long…not to mention the excellent food! #1 Niagara Falls Christmas Market<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

#5 Winter at the Market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Every Thursday beginning Nov. 17th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: 91 King St, City of St. Catharines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday nights this season, St. Catharines Winter at the Market is the place to be for one-stop holiday shopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter at the Market will be held every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. beginning Nov. 17 in Market Square (91 King St.) downtown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers will be able to select from a variety of fine preserves and local wines, as well as handcrafted items such as toys, games, jewelry, home decor, luxurious beauty products, and more, all while supporting the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#6 Ball’s Falls Holiday Trail<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

December 2, 2022 to Jan 8, 2023 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Ball’s Falls Conservation Area, 3292 Sixth Avenue, Lincoln<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a hiking experience featuring a 1.5 km (round trip) illuminated path through natural areas along the Niagara Escarpment and Twenty Mile Creek and through the 1800’s heritage village of Glen Elgin. Visitors will get to take in the stunning winter vistas, including the 27-metre lower waterfall, illuminated like never before, and experience history in the village with each building lit up with thousands of lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the Illuminated trail, guests will also have access to selfie and craft stations, family scavenger hunt activities, Holiday music (recordings), heritage displays, a warming station, a campfire \/ s’more Station, and a skating wink. Weekend Programming (Fri \u2014 Sun) offers all of the above plus Santa, live musical performances, heritage demonstrations and tours, artisans \/ craft vendors, and food, drink, and wine concessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#7 A Christmas Carol at the Shaw Festival<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Location: Shaw Festival Theatre (Royal George Theatre), 85 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ebenezer Scrooge has returned. The lovely holiday favourite A Christmas Carol makes a triumphant return to the Shaw Festival’s Royal George Theatre, nestled in the centre of the perfect Christmas hamlet. It serves as the ideal yearly reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. Bring your “Bah, humbug!” attitude and leave with a festive disposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
