The south end of Niagara Falls is poised for an explosion of growth in 2008, says the mayor of the city. Hundreds of millions of dollars in new commercial developments are ready to start in the area of McLeod Road and the QEW, Mayor Ted Salci said in a forecast for the year ahead.

The south end of Niagara Falls is poised for an explosion of growth in 2008, says the mayor of the city.
Hundreds of millions of dollars in new commercial developments are ready to start in the area of McLeod Road and the QEW, Mayor Ted Salci said in a forecast for the year ahead.
“We are poised for some growth, greater growth than we’ve seen,” Salci told This Week. “The greenbelt legislation is forcing everything to the south and we’re going to be the beneficiary of all that. I think there is going to be some exciting stuff. I can’t wait for it to happen.”
