The Port Dalhousie Beautification is a citizen-driven group of energized volunteers looking to make substantial improvements to the downtown area.
On the evening of Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, the public is invited to attend a free outdoor Christmas gathering held in downtown Port Dalhousie.
This will feature an evening of local school choirs, theatre groups, musicians, and entertainers all ready to showcase the season for the local community.
Attendees that arrive into downtown Port will be greeted by one of two hot chocolate stations, in which you will receive a candle-lit lantern to light your path around town. You will be provided with a downtown map, showing locations and times of holiday performances. Entertainment will vary from local school choirs and churches, to vignettes from theatre groups, to local musicians. Each performance will be approximately 10-15 minutes in length.
This community event will provide laughter and good spirits, and provide everyone with the chance to mingle with neighbours. Enjoy the downtown retailers and share the joy of the holiday season.
