Top 5 Souvenir and Gift Spots in Niagara

Reading Time:  4 minutes -

I love this time of the year because it means getting into the car with the whole clan and cruising from little hideaway to little hideaway for unique antiques and gifts. There’s nothing better than finding some hidden treasures for the whole family…and getting out and making it a fun thing to do in Niagara for the day. What if you are not familiar with the Niagara Region? Where do you find these gift ideas and how do you get there? I will count down for you a few of my favourite places to go and then I guarantee you will find something really unique that you can bring home as a souvenir. Something that you won’t find anywhere else.

1.  Souvenir City Headquarters:

Conveniently located right on the Niagara River Parkway, it’s a beautiful drive into Niagara On The Lake right from the Niagara Falls itself. Souvenir City is a 15,000 square foot facility chalk full of Canadian and Niagara Falls based items and gifts. They hold everything from unique memorabilia such as vintage Niagara Falls ashtrays, piggy banks and plaques to sports souvenirs, youth clothing and dolls…the perfect selection for the whole family to locate a particular item tailored just for them!

3. Jordan Antiques Centre:

Located inside the Niagara Region, but not in Niagara Falls itself is one of my absolute favourite Spring and Summer antiquing locations. Just a short, scenic 20 minute jaunt from the Niagara Falls, Jordan, Ontario is a gorgeous, quaint small town that is surrounded by farmland, vineyards and vintage housing. If you are an antique collector looking for a destination to explore, Jordan Village is for you! Twenty-six full time antiques dealers were carefully selected that provide optimum stock presentation and suitability to Jordan Antiques Centre’s mix. My husband and I love to explore this street from top to bottom and never come home empty handed. Bring your camera for gorgeous photos of the countryside!
