Niagara Falls Fireworks

Niagara Falls Fireworks Have Been Extended for 2014

The Niagara Falls Fireworks have been extended this year, due to additional funding provided by the Tourism Partnership of Niagara.

It’s always been Canada’s longest-running Fireworks series, but 2014 will be an excellent year for Niagara Tourism with the added extension of the Niagara Falls fireworks  displays running alongside the opening of two of Niagara’s most talked about additions: Hornblower Niagara Cruises and the Outlet Collection at Niagara. All three of these draws to Niagara Falls will take place over the Victoria Day Weekend.

The Niagara Falls fireworks series will begin a week prior than usual, starting this Friday, May 9th (Mother’s Day weekend!), right through to November 30th, 2014!  80 displays will light up the skies on Fridays, Sundays and Holidays, with bonus displays on Wednesday nights beginning on June 18th until August 20th, and an end of summer celebration with nightly shows Sunday through Friday, August 24 to 29 in support of a new Sound & Light show event.

Due to the anticipation of the Hornblower grand opening in conjunction with falling on the Victoria Day weekend, expect high-volume traffic. Don’t fight with finding a parking spot on one of Niagara’s highest volume days and long weekends! You will find plenty of parking regardless of the time of year at the most possible inexpensive cost compared to other local hot spots, that extends from the rear of the Comfort Inn Clifton Hill all the way to Robinson Street (across from the Skylon Tower).  Here, you are situated in a prime spot directly on top of the Clifton Hill attractions and within a 5 minute walk down to view the Niagara Falls, the fireworks show at Queen Victoria Park, and to catch a cruise on one of the Hornblower catamarans! The accessibility to everything you plan to view on your trip here is central within this lot, with even the Fallsview Casino located within walking distance.

*Tour buses are welcome!*

Here’s a map of the lot and directions on how to get there:

Just look at this video that flies alongside the Niagara SkyWheel captured during one of our fireworks displays:

Don’t miss out on what Niagara Falls has to offer during our upcoming 2014 season!
