NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — I admit, it’s been a long time since I’ve explored this sister city to Niagara Falls, Ont. And what I found was this American city is no slouch when it comes to thing to do. Tourist rescued after falling near brink of Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. A close call for a visitor at Niagara Falls.

A Polish tourist was stranded for about 45 minutes yesterday after sliding down an icy hill near the brink of the falls.

Police say the man had climbed a snow bank to get a better view, but slipped. He slid about 200 feet, stopping just short of going over.
