Buffalo station revisits Crystal Beach Park

When it came to gathering stories of Crystal Beach Park, PBS senior producer Lynne Bader-Gregory had it easy.
All it took was a nudge, and dozens of Buffalo and Crystal Beach residents opened the floodgates.
“I sort of hit the jackpot meeting these people,” says Bader-Gregory, whose documentary “Remembering Crystal Beach Park” premieres on Buffalo’s PBS station WNED Sept. 10.
“Everyone wants to talk about it. If you ask anyone about their memories of Crystal Beach, you can basically sit down and be quiet for the next 20 minutes.” (more…)
