Convention centre shapes up

A building permit for the Niagara Convention and Civic Centre is expected to be issued in the next few weeks, as work continues toward the centre’s 2011 completion target.
“It’s tracking on schedule. It’s tracking quite well. Everything is moving along quite nicely,” said Serge Felicetti, the city’s business development officer.
He submitted a report on the convention centre’s progress to city council Monday. (more…)
