Wanna be on TV? Bundle up and head down to Table Rock tonight.

Weather pending, a major illusion for an upcoming CBC magic special will be filmed at 7:30 p. m.

Producers are being tight lipped about details, but it involves a local magician performing a huge (and dangerous) feat down by the falls involving fire, a giant icicle, a straitjacket and a few surprises. (more…)

City spotlighted on long-running TV quiz show

For the first 10 minutes of Thursday night’s airing of the popular game show Jeopardy, contestants did all they could to steer clear of the category “Niagara Falls.”

Tourism industry deserves credit for helping build our community

The tourism industry of Niagara Falls has gone and done it again. Over the weekend, many Clifton Hill businesses opened their doors to the local community at $1 a shot to raise money to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Thousands of dollars will have been raised to help this fine charity. This follows closely on the heels of most Niagara Falls hoteliers discounting their hotel rooms for the annual Sleep Cheap, Charities Reap event in which more than $170,000 was raised to be distributed to a number of local charitable entities.
