Winter Festival of Lights illuminating the sky
Wednesday, November 01, 2006 – 02:00
Local News – The Winter Festival of Lights has announced the 2006 schedule for Fireworks Over the Falls. This year, there will be 16 displays – beginning with Saturday’s 6 p.m. show as part of the opening ceremonies for the 24th annual event – and wrapping up with a Jan. 5 show as the Festival of Lights draws to a close.
Other than Saturday’s 6 p.m. display – and a midnight extravaganza on New Year’s Eve, in addition to the mid-evening one – fireworks will light up the sky over the falls at 9 p.m. Friday evenings from Nov. 10 to Dec. 22. Fireworks will also be set off Dec. 26 to 31.
