Ho, Ho, Ho! It’s the 2010 Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade
WHEN? : Saturday, November 27 from 11:00 a.m. until approx. 12:30 p.m.
WHERE? : Parade begins on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, travels north on Victoria to
Valley Way, east (right) onto Valley Way, east (right) onto Queen Street, ending at
Erie Avenue, near City Hall.
NOTES: He’s Made his list and checked it twice, now Santa Claus is Coming to Town!
Come and ring in the holiday season at the 2010 Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade, scheduled for Saturday,
November 27. This year’s Parade will feature even MORE exciting bands, beautiful new floats, as well
as entries from local high schools and many other local community groups! Santa himself will be the
parades “Grand Finale”, and you won’t want to miss him as he will be riding on his brand NEW float!!
Designed by volunteer Bill Howe, and custom built by Stamford Collegiate High School Students under
the direction of Stamford teacher Mark Vajda, this is an entry you will surely not want to miss. You’ll also
have to come out to see who is our 2010 Parade Grand Marshall.
A new element to this years festivities will be the Pre-Parade. The Pre-Parade will begin at 10:45 a.m.
featuring entries such as the Dreams Take Flight Mascots, and Project S.H.A.R.E. who will be collecting
food donations, as well as Canada Post will be collecting all of the letters to Santa! (Don’t forget to include
your return address on your letters to Santa!) Following this will be the Official Parade, which will begin
at 11:00 a.m. Both the Pre-Parade and the Official Parade will travel along Victoria Avenue, beginning
at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Armoury Street and proceed north on Victoria Avenue to Valley
Way, travel (east) to Queen Street end at Erie Avenue, beside City Hall.

Post Parade Activities- Meet & Greet with Santa and the Youth Art Contest Awards
Come and see Santa face to face at the “Santa Meet and Greet” taking place at The Buttery, 4437 Queen
Street from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Any avid artists are encouraged to attend the “Youth Art Contest Awards”Presentation which will take
place at 12:45 p.m. in the Historic Niagara Artistic Exhibition Center, 4323 Queen Street, across from City
Hall. Great prizes have been donated from the City’s Arts & Culture Committee, Build-A-Bear Workshop,
Dynamic Image, Community Artists Niagara (CAn) and Niagara Theatre & Entertainment! You can also
view all of the entries in the Historic Niagara Artistic Exhibition Center daily from November 20 to
November 26 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and on Saturday, November 27 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Before the Parade Enjoy Downtown Niagara Falls!!!
Don’t forget to visit the local Queen Street shops, Restaurants, Art galleries and other local boutiques and
enjoy the beautiful holiday displays of the downtown core. Queen Street has been transformed into
Santa’s Village! Come and enjoy the many displays downtown including “The Night Before Christmas”
in front of City Hall.
